Play!  It’s Good For Your Brain.

Think you’re too old for play?  Think again.

Play — at any age — boosts creativity, helps nurture critical thinking, and builds new neural pathways.

Play is proven to have a powerful effect on the brain, improving memory and stimulating the growth of the cerebral cortex.

Play is also an amazing stress-reliever. When we play, the brain releases chemicals known as endorphins. Endorphins promote an overall sense of well-being, and can even temporarily relieve pain.

Better yet, play helps us to feel young, energetic — and happy!  We can’t think of a better stress reliever following months of lockdown than making time to play a new, healthy habit. xo Zahra
