YOUR PRIMARY ARCHETYPE:
The Stallion
VALUES:
Independence, autonomy, freedom
STRENGTHS:
Self-reliance, big-picture thinking, generating excitement
UNIQUE TALENTS:
Decisiveness, confidence, unconventional approach to life
KNOWN FOR:
Taking action, spontaneity, desiring little to no oversight
PERSONALITY TRAITS:
The Stallion archetype loves to be wild and free. Early in life the stallion likely faced events where they felt very much alone and unsupported by those closest to them. This can be incredibly sad and lonely. To cope with and manage these events, the stallion learns how to be highly independent and comes to value the ability to move around freely and without much oversight.
A stallion archetype will resist any restrictions put on them and will dislike situations where they feel controlled. If a stallion spirit is in a job or career that limits them, or a relationship that is controlling, they will feel quite uneasy as it goes against their nature. They don’t mind balance in life but they will be easily bored with too much routine. They need spontaneity, variety and excitement to really feel as though they are thriving.
Stallions relate well to others that have a warm and outgoing personality who value excitement and new experiences. They tend to be more open minded and unconventional in their thinking and gravitate towards other independent thinkers.
Stallions will choose a more unconventional partner as they will be bored with too much routine. If a stallion archetype does not understand their nature and their need for freedom, then relationships will be tricky to navigate, especially if it’s with a partner that values control and stability.
If a stallion hasn’t developed in a healthy way, they will push the boundaries, always needing to display their need for freedom.
WHEN TRIGGERED:
Stallion archetypes are usually triggered when controlled or manipulated as it is difficult for them to understand more closed approaches to life and love.
Stallions don’t get upset easily or stay upset for long as they want to get back to the business of feeling light and free. Usually quite peaceful personalities, they can adapt easily and will try to find a solution to get back to peace quickly.
A stallion archetype prefers to live life in an unbridled way and will thrive in relationships that allow them to express this side of themselves. Controlling relationships will be difficult for a stallion, so they will take a stand and, if this cannot be negotiated, they will distance themselves from the person or situation trying to control them. If a stallion’s career is restrictive and / or their relationship is restrictive, they will need outlets where they can find some freedom so they can be happiest. If you are in a relationship with a stallion, be it love or family, you will need to give your stallion archetypes the room to move around and not have such a regimented schedule so that the stallion can feel happiest.
HOW IT MAY BLOCK YOU:
Stallions are free spirits so anything – absolutely anything – that restricts or controls will feel difficult for a stallion.
Longer projects will feel endless for a stallion who just wants to be free and roam. They will need to learn to tame themselves and stay committed to see something through to the end.
Relationships that are controlling or if much is expected of them can seem overwhelming. They will need to learn why this is so difficult, sometimes even making them feel suffocated, even when everything is fine.
MASTERING YOUR ARCHETYPE:
On the pathway to mastering this personality archetype, the stallion will learn how to balance freedom in their work, life and in their loving relationships. They will learn how to feel independence without having to always be so alone. These lessons include understanding where the unconscious belief began, how the life block gets triggered, how to make sure this core need for freedom is met and how to make new choices when they’ve developed the tools for a healthier mindset. So the stallion eventually learns that they are not alone, that they are loved and supported, and it’s possible for them to also have some independence, but in a healthy way. The stallion will become whole and complete again.
